We had a busy week! John went on a business trip to a coal mine in Wyoming and visited Mt. Rushmore. It was ONLY 2 1/2 hrs. away from where he was and when you're that close...why not go? The pictures look really cool. Cooper and I went to the St. Louis Zoo. It was his first trip there! If you haven't been to the STL Zoo or if you ever visit St. Louis- YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE ZOO! First off, it's free! Who can beat that? Second, it is so big and nice and has so many different animals! Although this trip was more for me to get out of the house and visit with friends, I know Cooper will enjoy it more when he is a little older and Dad goes with us! The weather was humid but not too bad for a summer day in St. Louis. We had so much fun with friends- Carey with her kiddos, Ella and Trey and Brooke with her kids, Hannah and Abby (who is one week old!). I think Cooper could see the HUGE elephants- maybe because it was one of the only times he was awake! We had a great time and can't wait to go back!Cooper and me going to the zoo!
